Second Race Weekend: BMW Drivers Cup Oct 4-6 2024
"It’s been 8 months since I’ve been back in La Villanelle the E30 and it brought back all of the feelings! My focus and energy have been shifted and put towards testing days with Team VW Funcup Australia. The weekend started with a new Personal Best lap time during Practice on Friday with a 2.07, shaving off 9 secs from my previous PB from over a year a go at Phillip Island at my first race weekend. From Saturday afternoon onwards the weather provided very challenging track conditions, with torrential rain. Believe it or not, this is the first time I had driven in the rain on a track and found it to be quite difficult, after having an off during one of the races, I very much prefer the dry! It was a learning experience I needed to have and another skill I will have to acquire over time. Considering this was an unplanned race weekend in the plans for 2024, overall I learned so much and am proud of my improvements." - Jessie
